HE CARES

Turning Global Scale Into Local Impact

At Hotel Equities, hospitality extends beyond the walls of our hotels. HE CARES is our company-wide social impact program, bringing team members and properties together to strengthen the communities where we live, work, and serve.

How We Help

We recognize that the needs of each community look different from one region to another, so we intentionally created a multi-level framework of giving. Corporate scale helps provide collective impact, regional nonprofit partnerships make the program relevant across HE’s growing international footprint, and property-level flexibility empowers team members to serve the communities where they live and work.

Giving extends beyond financial contributions: our teams participate in a huge range of impact efforts including volunteering, mentoring and career days, disaster-relief efforts, veteran support, hardship relief, fundraising and donation drives, and community appreciation and volunteer events.

This isn’t simply a corporate charitable-giving program. It’s a team member and property-powered social impact platform.

Guided By Our Communities

Local flexibility is built into the program, connecting regional nonprofit partners and culturally relevant opportunities for engagement, and allowing the passion of each property’s team members to guide their efforts. Property-level activities can span education, environmental stewardship, mental health, community health, volunteerism and other locally meaningful causes.

Our Corporate Commitments

Hotel Equities has committed a portion of annual proceeds to support our three core impact pillars, supplemented by additional fundraising goals and support for property-level initiatives. We also operate on a year-round program of giving that connects monthly themes to relevant community and cultural observances.

  • Team Member Assistance Program

Part of HE CARES is a team member assistance program, funded through voluntary team member and partner contributions. It provides confidential financial assistance to team member facing unexpected hardships from extraordinary life circumstances.
