Manager in Training Program
We believe the next generation of hospitality leaders deserves a strong foundation—built on hands-on experience, mentorship, and real opportunity. Hotel Equities’ Manager in Training Program is a 6–9-month program designed for recent college graduates eager to launch a meaningful career in hotel leadership. Participants rotate through most hotel departments, receive personalized coaching, and gain project management experience. It’s ideal for early-career hotel professionals ready to grow and lead.

Individual Development Program (IDP)
The Individual Development Program (IDP) is a self-paced program focused on building management and technical skills. Guided by their General Manager and/or other property leaders, participants explore 30+ modules from sales to revenue management to gain practical experience and to understand hotel operations through a management lens. The experiential format encourages personal ownership of development, allowing team members to learn at their own pace. IDP supports growth at management and supervisory levels and promotes confidence in daily leadership responsibilities.
Management Development Program (MDP)
The path to great leadership begins with intentional growth. Our 6-month Management Development Program is built for on-property leads, supervisors, and managers ready to sharpen their leadership and management skills. Participants engage in webinars, cohort learning, one-on-one coaching, and complete a capstone project presented to senior leadership. This experience challenges them to think strategically and lead with confidence—empowering associates to push boundaries, set bold goals, and grow both personally and professionally within Hotel Equities.
Leadership Development Program
Step into a leadership journey designed just for those with multi-unit responsibilities! Our six-month leadership experience blends flexible, self-paced learning with dynamic classroom sessions and enterprise-wide team projects to challenge multi-unit leaders to think and lead differently.
Through interactive modules and real-world challenges, you'll sharpen the skills needed to lead with confidence at Hotel Equities.
General Manager Onboarding
The GM Onboarding Experience is a structured journey designed to equip leaders new to Hotel Equities with the tools, training, and support needed to lead with confidence. From The HERO Program (see below) to hands-on resources and coaching, the experience blends culture, operational systems, and leadership development experiences. With clear milestones and consistent guidance, GMs build a strong foundation and continue growing well beyond their first few months—empowered to drive results from day one.
The HERO Program
Strong leadership begins with strong beginnings—The HERO program begins the journey for our select service hotel general managers. The program equips GMs with the tools, resources, and confidence needed to lead from day one. Through experiential learning rooted in our culture and systems, the HERO program sets the tone for effective hotel management and leadership. In a focused environment, GMs connect, learn, and align with Hotel Equities operating procedures—starting a purposeful leadership journey.
Director of Sales Onboarding
Start your new role with confidence through our Sales Onboarding Experience—a self-paced journey designed for newly hired Directors of Sales and Sales Managers. Guided by your General Manager and dedicated Sales Coach, you’ll get all the tools, resources, and insider know-how you need to thrive at Hotel Equities. The journey also includes 12 hours of sales-specific training led by Master Connections Associates, worldwide leaders in sales training and consulting.
Sales Training for the Experienced Sales and Catering Leaders:
Continue on your journey with ongoing training offerings from Master Connections Associates. This includes training specific to select service and full-service sales leaders, as well as catering managers within our organization.
Hotel Equities Learning Platform
The Hotel Equities Learning Passport (HELP) is our centralized platform for training and development across all disciplines. From onboarding to continued learning, HELP offers flexible, self-paced access to technical and leadership content.
