Austin, TX (July 22, 2025) – Aloft Austin South by Marriott celebrates its third anniversary bringing together hospitality partners, the community and members of the Austin Chamber of Commerce to honor the hotel’s milestone and usher in a new chapter under the management of Hotel Equities (HE).
The event, held at the hotel’s dynamic Re:mix® lounge, marked three years since the hotel’s grand opening in June 2022. The celebration spotlighted not only the success of the property but also its renewed focus on community connection and operational excellence following the hotel’s recent management transition.

The hotel was recently awarded a perfect score by Marriott during its most recent quality assurance audit, an achievement that speaks to the dedication of its on-property team as well as the commitment to standards of excellence that Hotel Equities prioritizes.

Guests at the celebration enjoyed live music, hotel tours, and curated bites and beverages provided by local purveyors including Still Austin, Tequila 512, Gotji’s Kitchen, and Louie’s NY Sammies. Their participation helped spotlight the hotel’s commitment to supporting small businesses and showcasing the flavors of the local community.
Considering the devastating floods that recently impacted nearby Texas communities, the hotel’s owners contributed to World Central Kitchen to support relief efforts following the catastrophe. Marriott Bonvoy members are also invited to join the cause through Marriott’s partnership with World Central Kitchen, with Marriott matching up to 50 million points donated through the end of September.
