"The staff is to be commended for the professional, efficient way they handled the tornado weather this particular evening.  In the midst of sirens wailing, drenched, nervous travelers arriving, and news getting more and more disturbing, they maintained a contagious calm and efficiently handed out towels for drying out and snacks for watching the doppler weather reports in the breakfast room.  They clearly outlined what the drill would be if the storm came closer, and agreed not only to call rooms, but to go knock on doors as well.  In my opinion, they could not have done more to allay any fears of guests.  An additional kudos:  In the confusion, I dropped my driving glasses in the parking lot.  The manager (Beth) found them and they arrived the very day after I spoke with housekeeping about them.  I will not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for lodging in the Macon area.  Oh, and the facility is in excellent condition to boot!"

"My family and I were visitors to your Hampton Inn in the month of July and I wanted to express our wonderful satisfaction.  We live in California and had come to Hilton Head to spend time with our son and his family.  We spent a fabulous four days there, but what made our visit so exceptional was the courtesy and kindness that we received from the laundry women to the custodial workers.  We all remarked on different conversations and interactions we had with several different employees and we realized our vacation was doubly enhanced by the friendliness we found.  Please pass our sentiments on to your crew.  We thought they all were deserving of compliments."

"As a frequent visitor of Hampton Inns, I appreciate quality customer service, where the word 'no' doesn't exist.  During my recent stay at your hotel, just that happened.  I was greeted by two very helpful women, Carole and Monique when I checked in.  Both women treated me like a guest in their own homes and I want you to know how much I appreciated that.  They made my trip a little bit easier."

Hampton Inn - Stone Mountain
"We had late check-in (around 1:30 a.m.) due to road construction and incorrect MapQuest directions.  Some of our family members had existing reservations, but others needed to make reservations.  We explained our circumstances to General Manager, Shelley, who was patient enough to meet with family members to discuss various options.  She proceeded to go above and beyond the call of duty and we were able to utilize the family reunion discount rate.  That's what I call a great Manager who understands how to offer great customer service!"

"This has been a wonderful week.  All of the staff made me welcome and offered assistance.  I didn't have to worry about the Kool Aid I like to drink and didn't have.  I found them in your staff's smiles:  strawberry, cherry, tropical punch, orange and WOW!!!"  Great staff.  God bless your business."

"I worked at my hotel all day and then drove from Miami Beach up to your Inn.  The evening front desk lady (Deborah ) was efficient, courteous, and welcoming.  I met Cathy the next day and she is a delight, too.  The room was clean and had a fresh smell.  The towels did not smell of smoke -- as they sometimes do -- and the shower water was nice and hot.  I thought that the self-made waffles were pretty cool, too.  I will recommend your Inn and select it above your competitors for future trips to the St. Marys area.  Cathy gave me a little map of the St. Marys village area and I enjoyed that, too.

"I don't do this often, but I wanted to let you know of a special employee at your location.  Ms. Siamanta  is a fabulous asset.  She was incredibly friendly and was very attentive, not only to me, but to all of your guests that evening.  She made a point of going out of her way to make everyone she came in contact with feel as if they were at home.  I am her biggest fan and wish all of my employees were like her.  You definitely have a gem on your hands."

"Breakfast at SpringHill Suites is one of the most pleasant experiences of any hotel chain.  Ms. Martha is a burst of sunshine and always ensures a great start to any day!"

“Martha  in breakfast  is the best!  We travel all over the country and enjoy this hotel the most.  It is people like Martha that make our stay so enjoyable.  Kudos to Martha!  Even our 5-year-old son asks for her when he stays there!”

"Thank you for hosting our family!  The service given by your staff was over the TOP.  Petal was an excellent hostess in the breakfast area and she treated our family like kings and queens and did it with a smile!  Josephine was so nice that our family accepted her as an honorary member!  Erin  made sure we had everything we needed while we were in and out of our rooms.  Antoinette has a personality that makes the guests want to stay at the hotel again and again and again!  Donald is such an asset.  There were items left in some of our rooms and he immediately reported them to the front desk and we were able to get them to family members before they left the hotel.  Christina  made us feel very welcome.  She has a smile that says 'we're glad to have you here'.  Evelyn made the check-out process easy.  Karen  put all of our reservations in place.  Working with her was such a pleasure and I feel like we're friends forever.  My daughter lives in the area, but if I ever need to stay at a hotel, I will definitely stay at SpringHill Suites."

"Brooke, Hilary, Ron, Kym, Christina, and Jimmy and the housekeeping staff all work very hard to accommodate me as a long-term guest.  I feel valued as a customer and appreciate all they do to help my 'home away from home' stay welcoming and a pleasant experience.  They anticipate my needs and help me to feel as though any request I make is something they can handle -- and they do it with a smile!  I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at their location.  I highly recommend the property to others needing long-term accommodations in the Atlanta area.  It's worth the drive to be in such a well-maintained and friendly environment!"

"We can't say enough about what a delightful and competent person your General Manager  Brooke is!  We had the pleasure of also living for seven months at this hotel almost two years ago and she made us feel so at home!  That's why we always go back whenever we are in the area.  She's a real gem that you are indeed lucky to have working for you!

"I had to make some very last minute reservations for some friends who were traveling in the U.S. from overseas.  I called the hotel directly and spoke to a very pleasant lady, Hilary.  She gave me a rate and I booked the room for my friends.  I explained that they would arrive very late (approximately 3 a.m.) with their 5-year-old son and would be very tired after driving unexpectedly from Orlando.  I did mention that they had a very trying day and would just want to get in bed and sleep.  Well, to my amazement and my friend's as well, when they arrived in the room the sofa bed was pulled out for my friend's son with a handwritten note wishing him sweet dreams with his cushy Teddy bear that she had left for him on the bed.  She also had left a note for my friends expressing that she knew they had a trying day (airline problems) so, therefore, she had a very nice wicker baset stuffed with all kinds of breakfast items so they wouldn't have to get up in the morning and rush down before breakfast was over.  She also left orange juice in the refrigerator for them.  My friends and myself were just stunned at the thoughfulness that this sweet lady had for my friends.  We are all in the service industry (airline flight attendants) and were very touched by her gesture.  This is service that I wouldn't even expect from a 5-star property.  I do hope you will recognize that you have a 'VERY VALUABLE' employee with Hilary and that you have gained a new customer.  I often have people visiting from out of town.  This will be their 'home away from home' when in the Atlanta area thanks to the kindness of one person.  Hilary's hospitality really made an excellent impression on us all.  Many thinks to Hilary.  You put a big smile on our faces."

"Recently, I stayed for the first time at your hotel for two nights.  I thought the place was great and the people splendid, but I had no idea just how good the personnel are.  I discovered at the airport that I had left my power cord for my laptop in the room.  You can guess the turmoil that would put a business traveler in.  I had two hours of battery total.  I would be out of business until I could find a replacement, and it was the weekend.  I called the hotel from the airport, and the wonderful night clerk, whose name escapes me, went to my room and found the cord.  She left a note for the daytime staff regarding the problem.  That very day, I was sent an e-mail saying the cord would be in the mail.  I am so impressed.  If only all businesses had this can-do, service attitude, we would be a terrific society indeed.  I cannot compliment you and Marriott enough for entrusting such a valuable property and your good name to the TownePlace team.  Marriott just moved to the front of my 'preferred places to stay' list.  I will be talking this up for a long time with friends, business associates, and clients."

"Had a good rest--the bed was very comfortable.  I thought I was at home!  99% of the time you cannot sleep in a hotel bed as they're too hard or soft.  The staff was always with a smile.  I wished I'd have brought along my swimsuit -- the pool looked so cool!"

"The people at the property went out of their way to be helpful to us.  We had surgery and had to stay in the area for check-ups and visits with the doctors.  They brought us extra pillows, worked around our schedules, and were more than wonderful!  In fact, we took brochures and business cards to the doctor's office and recommended the property to them for other patients since the location is only 5-6 minutes from Kennestone Hospital in Marietta and the Surgery Center.  Your staff represented how a hotel should treat guests.  They were wonderful!"

"I wanted to take this opportunity to compliment your staff.  We were visiting from Minnesota, spending time with our parents who have been ill.  Woody was so professional and helpful with room reservations and also assiting with technology questions -- always with a smile and evident concern for our situation.  He definitely went the extra mile to provide a calm, relaxing environment for our stay.  Maceo added his 'can do' attitude when we lost a small cell phone clip in the parking lot.  Trisha has the front desk firmly in hand, providing information on the area with professionalism and a ready smile.  It's rare to find such sincere customer care in the 2000's and we will definitely stay at Wingate on our next trip to Alpharetta.  Kudos to you!"
